Going Forward

We’ve been a little quiet lately.

Silence isn’t always a bad thing.

It’s not that we don’t have anything to say, just a little unsure of how to say it.

Today’s world is overwhelming with constant competition for your time, attention, and money. The problem is your time, attention, and money is limited.

We’ve been taking notes and making a road map of our own.

So much of social media has become loud advertising and links to other websites. Talk about overwhelming.

Think about who you follow. Who’s the noise? Who's posts do you pay attention to every single time? Chances are the ones that are genuine, from a real person. The ones that are through an honest life’s perspective. Those that are relatable. They just feel human.

So going forward you can expect a few things from us:

  • relevant and authentic content about things we care about, adventures, and occasional updates from the shop
  • the stories behind the products, how they came to be, what they mean to us and how to find meaning for yourself
  • continuing to embrace our ideals and promote less “selling”, and promote more getting outside
  • create exciting new products with simple, meaningful, outdoor-inspired designs, with responsible manufacturing here in the states
  • connecting with like-minded people and brands who share our passion for the outdoors
  • partner with organizations and non-profits who are doing great things in their respective fields
  • stay true to our Explore Forever Initiative and continue making improvements where possible

While some brands are so focused on selling, we think there’s a better approach. Cedarpass was founded on a simple mantra; explore your great outdoors. This has been our north star since day one. Rather than just selling a product, we’re promoting the outdoor experience. Whether you purchase anything from us or not, our passion to connect people with the great outdoors remains the same. If you’re outside, doing what you love, that’s what matters to us.

I want our goods and messages to be a tangible reminder to go outside and explore your great outdoors, make memories, and live your best life.

See you out there,

Christopher
